We’re pleased to introduce Paul-Michael Linville, FNP, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings extensive clinical experience and a passion for serving rural and underserved communities to the Family Health Clinic.
Paul is a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and extensive clinical experience spanning primary care, public health, acute care, and military medicine. He is residency-trained at a federally qualified health center and has experience managing complex patient populations, supporting interdisciplinary care teams, and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in underserved communities.

What is your specialty, and what made you choose it?
I am a family practice nurse practitioner. I chose family practice because you get to see all ages throughout all stages of life. I feel like I can make the most impact in rural, underserved communities.
What would you like future and potential patients to know about your approach to care?
I will do my best to give you the best quality of care by listening to your concerns and working with you to come up with a plan of care that works best for you.
I follow the philosophy of patient-centered care, which is a health care method that focuses on the whole person, honoring individual values and needs, and building a strong partnership between the patient and caregivers.
What drew you to the Family Health Clinic, and what are you most looking forward to while working here?
Having worked in a rural health setting for the last five years, I feel it is where I belong. I love the team at FHC, and we already work so well together—it is a natural fit. I am looking forward to continuing to serve patients and being part of a team that shares my passion for providing quality care in a rural, underserved community.
A Passion for Serving Others
Paul is retired from the U.S. Navy, having spent many years stationed here and abroad with both the Navy and Marines. His military experience has given him a passion for helping veterans with the issues they face.
He also loves to volunteer in the community. Whether it’s with Habitat for Humanity, health-related organizations such as Remote Area Medical, or smaller local volunteer events, Paul says, “I just like to help others.” Outside of work and volunteering, Paul enjoys traveling, playing music, and working in the yard.
We’re excited to have Paul as part of the Family Health Clinic team and look forward to the experience, compassion, and dedication he brings to our patients and community.
Paul is available to see patients at the Delphi and Burlington clinics. Appointments can be scheduled with him by calling 800-321-5043 (Option 1). You can learn more about the services we provide by clicking here.
