Women's HEALTH

The Family Health Clinic employs Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners and offers comprehensive women’s health care which includes:

  • Prenatal care
  • Yearly physical exams
  • Pap smears (may be free for women who are eligible)
  • Mammogram referral (may be free for women who are eligible)
  • IUD placement
  • Nexplanon placement
  • Contraception prescription
  • Screening and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases and vaginal infections
  • Free pregnancy testing
  • Smoking cessation programs
  • Hoosier Healthwise enrollment for pregnant women

We participate in the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program through the YWCA, and can provide Pap smears, clinical breast exams, and mammograms at no cost for those with no insurance. We manage pregnant women through the 36th week of pregnancy, and then refer to the obstetrician of their choice for delivery.

 

Financial Assistance

If you are a patient with low or no-income and are under or uninsured, you might qualify for our sliding fee scale. Or, maybe you need help choosing the insurance plan that’s right for you. Either way, our financial services can help.
