caring for your family like our own

Men's Health

Schedule an appointment with Julian L. Gallegos, PhD, MBA, FNP-BC, NREMT, FAUNA, FADLN, a men’s health provider, firefighter, and EMT who understands the unique health needs of men and first responders.

Dr. Gallegos provides confidential, respectful care for adult men ages 18 and older. He understands that concerns involving sexual health, urinary symptoms, testosterone, mental well-being, and occupational exposures can be difficult to discuss. His goal is to create an environment where men feel comfortable speaking openly and building a strong, lasting relationship with their healthcare provider.

As a firefighter and EMT, Dr. Gallegos also understands the physical and psychological demands of the fire service. Firefighters face distinctive health challenges related to cardiovascular strain, cancer risk, sleep disruption, fatigue, occupational exposures, stress, behavioral health, and the physical demands of the job. Services are available for career, volunteer, and retired firefighters, as well as other first responders.

Many men’s health concerns can also signal underlying conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, obesity, sleep disorders, depression, or anxiety. Dr. Gallegos evaluates the whole person, screens for related health concerns, develops an individualized treatment plan, and coordinates referrals to specialists when needed.
